有岛武郎与托尔斯泰,尽管一个在日本,一个在沙皇俄国,而且时代相差50年,但是他们却有许多相似之处和不同之处。托尔斯泰一生完成了许多杰作,他的名著《战争与和平》、《安娜.卡列尼娜》、《复活》风靡全球,历久不衰。研究它的思想,著作,生平的作者遍及全球,人才辈出;有岛武郎身为画家,小说家,生在东京,是大藏省官僚的长子,自学习院高等科辍学后,进札幌农学就学,壮年因生父及妻子之死的震撼,加入笔耕行列,中年自杀,结束了的生命,作为日本白桦派文学兴盛期的重要作家之一,发表《一个女人》、《该隐的末裔》等20篇不朽的杰作,是大正小说的一座丰碑。事实表明:有岛武郎与托尔斯泰尽管生在两个国度,却同样誉满全球,虽一个中年夭折,一位高龄。可是,都是世界文坛上永不陨落的璀璨巨星。

Arishima Takeo and Lev Tolstoy, from different countries and different age one from Japan, and the other from Rus sia, shared some similarities but also many differences. Lev Tolstoy wrote many great works in his life including the famous War and Peace, Anna Karenina and Resurrection. People all over the world have been studying his life, his works and his thoughts. Arishima Takeo, an artist and writer, born in Tokyo, firstborn son of a bureaucrat of Okura Sho, dropped out of high school of Gakushuin before he began to study agronomy in Sapporo. In the prime of his life, Arishima Takeo started to write due to the death of his father and his wife and ended up in suicide in his middle age. As an important member of Shirakabaha School in Japan, he had more than twenty im- mortal books such as A Woman, The Descendant of Cain. He is a monument to the novels in the Taisho time. The fact shows that al though Arishima Takeo and Lev Tolstoy live in different countries, they are well - known all over the world which proves that they are both well known writers in literary world.
