Diagnosis and treatment of heterotopic gastric mucosa in esophagus

食管是消化道中胃黏膜异位(Heterotopic gastric mucosa,HGM)最易发生的部位,尸检发现食管HGM检出率高达70%,但国内报道不足1%。食管HGM多无症状,极少数发展为食管腺癌,内镜检查极易漏诊,应引起临床医生的重视。

Heterotopic gastric mucosa （HGM） mostly occurs in esophagus. Though 70% of autopsy cases reported this disease, the percentage in China was less than 1%. Due to its asymptomatic characteristic and high omission rate of diagnosis during endoscopy in China as well as its possible prognosis of esophageal adenocarcinoma, HGM in esophagus needs more attentions in clinic in the future.
