Narrowing the Gap Between the Rich and the Poor to Realize the Common Prosperity

富裕是指生活富裕,即丰衣足食、安居乐业。共同富裕是社会主义的本质要求。生产发展是共同富裕的必由之路,分配公平是共同富裕的必要条件,共同富裕是社会主义优越性的集中表现。当前,我国经济面临的主要问题是,生产相对过剩,消费需求不足。其主要原因是,分配不够公平,贫富差距过大。只有缩小贫富差距,才能实现共同富裕。

The rich means wealthy and possessing a lot of money or other valuable goods or property. The common prosperity is the essential requirement of the socialism. Production development is the only way of the common prosperity. The main problem we facing is relative surplus of the production and insufficient of consuming demand. The key to solve those problems is to narrow the gap between the rich and the poor and realize the common prosperity.
