行政垄断下的铁路运输业资源配置效率分析

An Analysis on the Efficiency of Chinese Railway Transport Industry under the Administrative Monopoly

中国铁路运输业长期处于政府的行政垄断之下,这对其资源配置效率造成了重要影响。文章运用2000年以来铁路运输业的相关数据对其资源配置效率进行测算,发现该行业的微观效率、产业效率和宏观效率都很低。打破铁路运输业的行政垄断,适度引入竞争,进行市场主体的多元化改革,可能是提高该行业资源配置效率的一条重要途径。

Chinese railway transport industry has long been under the government＇s administrative monopoly,which has had an important impact on its efficiency.Using the data of railway transport industry from 2000 to calculate its efficiency,it can be found that the microcosmic efficiency,the industrial efficiency and the macrocosmic efficiency of this industry are all very low.Breaking the administrative monopoly of railway transport industry,moderately bringing in competition and carrying out diversification reform may be an important way to raise the efficiency of this industry.
