This paper introduces the concepts associated with ERP and data warehouse（including its characteristics）.With the increasing competition in marketing,more and more enterprises realize that the importance of the product quality.Therefore,taking a mechanical processing factory based on ERP operation as example,this paper analyzes the product data of mechanical processing by adopting OLAP technique and multi-dimension analysis method based on business intelligence of SQL server.Administrators can obtain relevant information to adjust the production process so that keep the product staying in good quality,which providing technical support for the development of enterprises in long-term.
