四川民族地区图书馆由于受各种条件限制,公共图书馆的服务基本上处于缺位状态。为了弥补民族地区图书馆发展不足,积极拓展社会教育职能,建立健全惠及各族人民的服务网络,作为四川公共图书馆的龙头,四川省图书馆努力构建多层次服务体系,促进四川民族地区图书馆的建设与发展。

The libraries in the minority regions of Sichuan are imposed with variou restrictions, thus the public libraries are nearly absence from service. In order to make up the deficiency in development of the libraries in the minority regions, and actively expand the social function of education, establish and improve the service network for the benefit of the people of all ethnic groups, Sichuan Library, as the leading one, strives to construct the multilevel service system to promote the development of the libraries in the minority regions.
