英汉语音复现的衔接功能及其在翻译中的处理

On Cohesive Function of Phonetic Repetition in English and Chinese Text and Its Translation

衔接理论创立之后,国内外学者给予了越来越多的关注,因而得到不断修正和完善。语音衔接已成为衔接体系中不可或缺的一部分,语音复现是音、韵、律等语音形式的重复使用产生的一种语音现象,这种形式在语篇里同样具有衔接作用,但学界对其研究相对薄弱。在前人研究的基础上对英汉语篇中语音复现的衔接功能进行考察,并结合实例探析英汉互译实践中这类语音形式的处理策略。

Since the theory of cohesion put forward by Halliday Hasan,a study on it has called more scholars＇ attention both in China and abroad.With the improvement of the theory,phonological cohesion becomes the indispensable part of the whole system.Phonetic repetition formed by the repetition of rhyme or sound can be used as cohesive tie in text but less attention has been given to it.Based on previous research,this paper attempts to make a study on cohesive function of phonetic repetition in English and Chinese text.Furthermore,the paper makes an analysis in dealing with it in translation practice with some examples.
