党的十七届六中全会强调,要进一步推动社会主义文化大发展大繁荣,进一步兴起社会主义文化建设新高潮,这是基于我国文化改革发展的丰富实践和宝贵经验提出的重大文化发展战略。文化事业大发展是国家"十二五"纲要的重要组成部分。在进一步加强社会主义文化建设过程中,从理论、历史、现实等诸多角度对文化建设问题进行多角度分析,明确广义文化与狭义文化的关系、文化继承与文化创新的关系、文化交流与文化自觉的关系等,是推进文化建设的前提,是社会主义文化繁荣与发展的需要。

The 6th Plenary Session of the 17th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party lays store by the strategic move of promoting the great development and prosperity of socialist culture so as to usher in a new upsurge in socialist cultural construction.This is an important cultural development strategy advanced on the basis of the rich practice and valuable experience accumulated in China＇s cultural reform and development,and it has also been incorporated into the 12th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development.In the process of further strengthening the construction of socialist culture,it is not only a precondition for furthering China＇s cultural construction but also a necessity of prospering and developing China＇s socialist culture to analyze issues concerning socialist cultural construction and to nail down the relationships between broad-sense culture and narrow-sense culture,between cultural succession and cultural innovation,between cultural exchange and cultural self-knowledge,from multiple perspectives,theoretically,historically and factually.
