The Linguistic Approach to Zhu Guangqian’s Translation Thoughts

学界对朱光潜的美学及文艺学思想的研究可谓汗牛充栋,但对其翻译思想的研究始终没有得到应有的重视。从现代语言学角度探析朱光潜的翻译理论,对其进行理论定位,并使之系统化,以期对他的翻译思想有更为清晰的认识。朱光潜虽然试图用现代语言学的方法解决翻译中存在的问题,但其翻译思想并未突破传统译论的束缚。

Zhu Guangqian＇s aesthetic and literary thoughts have been the research focuses, while his translation thoughts have not got adequate academic attention. This paper analyses and systematizes Zhu＇s translation thoughts from the modern linguistic perspective for a clear understanding. Although he tries to take a modern linguistic approach to solve some translation problems, he does not make a breakthough from traditional translation theories.
