Study on Chinese Herbal Medicine Preventing and Curing Mastitis and Scours of Swing

As theoretically and methodologically indicated in TCVM,more than ten Chinese Herbal Medicines chiefly including Chinese Atractylodes,Motherwort,Pulsatilla Sinensis and Amur Corktree were made up a compound prescription-Muzikang and pharmacological study on it were carried our.The result showed that Muzikang could effectively prevent and cure Mastitis and Scours of swine;notably inhibit Ecoli and S.aureus in vitro;resist inflammation,death and disease;increase the immunity of body remarkably and no toxic-side effects existed in it.The ability of penetrating through Blood-Mammary gland Barrier made the therapeutic method simply and piglets were cured after taking mothers milk.As proved aboveall,Muzikang was an effective medicine which prevent Mastitis of Maternal Swine and Yellow-White Scours of Piglets.
