Mainstream Technological Comparison of HFC Network Bidirectional Transformation

针对HFC网络的双向改造中常用的四种接入网技术,通过对四种技术原理的分析和优缺点的对比,认为EPON+有源EoC技术从成本、带宽、扩展性和灵活性等多个角度看,都是最适合的接入网技术。

In the bidirectional transformation of HFC network, four kinds of access network technology are adopted. This paper analyzes their theories and compares the advantages and disadvantages. Then it suggests that EPON ＋ active EoC is the most suitable network access technology from the aspects ,of cost, bandwidth, scalability and flexibility.
