摘要
程雨民先生的语言学成就表明了中国学者从事外国语言学研究的正道,这就是立足本土资源,借鉴外来新知,经过刻苦努力,在世界语言学研究中发出中国学者的声音。其中,对西方理论的批判吸收和对中国传统的学习继承尤为当务之急。
Professor Cheng Yumin’s achievement in linguistic study shows a right and only road for the linguistics scholars in China,that is,to advance linguistics based on the full resources of local linguistic tradition and language reality,and a full understanding of Western linguistic achievencents.Under the present circumstances,the task of studying and preserving the local tradition may be more urgent for Chinese researchers of languages.
