摘要
如果只能有一个答案，你会选谁？是哲学家？科学家？政治家？还是……显然，这是一个仁者见仁，智者见智的话题。之所以在此提出这个问题，主要是为了引出我们的观点，本刊认为：……呵呵，还是先卖个关子!让我们从一个大家耳熟能详的故事说起。
The times produce their heroes. Also, economic trends create outstanding business figures, especially in the Chinese machinery and electric industry. They prey, as well as they prowl; they march, as well as they crawl. Due to the remarkable efforts made by their own and their teams, the entire industry steps into a new level, during which there comes forward more and more business legends. In order to demonstrate the achievements of such business figures and to encourage more enterprisers in this field as well, The Machinery & Electric Industry, the official magazine of China Machinery Industry Federation (CMIF), has launched "Men of the Year in Machinery & Electric Industry" since 2009. Based on its high independence and authority, this award has gained prominent public credibility and distinguished industrial influence. Winners of this award, in each year, include for sure the most representative, involved and dedicated figures in the industry, which makes list of this award the best reflection of yearly industrial progress.
