A survey on the information literacy of head nurses in the wards of "high quality nursing service demonstration project"

目的通过对开展"优质护理服务示范工程"期间护士长信息素质现状进行调查,为提高护士长管理水平提供新思路。方法对某三级甲等医院22名临床科室护士长进行问卷调查。结果 100.00%的护士长有信息查询的意识,95.45%的护士长就优质护理相关问题进行了信息查询,86.37%的护士长认为信息查询对个人职业发展起着重要作用。护士长的信息获取途径以"与其他护士长沟通,学习护理部下发的相关文件"为主;22.73%的护士长在提炼、加工信息方面有困难;自我评价方面,文献检索能力一般者占63.64%,阅读英文文献的能力较差者占40.91%。结论护士长的信息主动求知意识强,但信息查询能力有待进一步提高。

Objective To understand the situation of head nurses＇information literacy through the development of ＂high quality nursing service demonstration project＂ ,so as to provide a new approach to improve the level of management. Methods A self - designed questionnaire was used to investigate 22 head nurses of clinical departments. Results Among the involved head nurses,100.00% had the consciousness of information search,and 95.45% had searched the information of high quality nursing related problems, and 86.37% believed that information query played an important role of personal career development. In addition, the head nurses acquired inforation mainly through eonununicating with other head nurses or learning files from nursing department, and 22.73% of the head nurses had the problem of refining information they had searched. As to the self - evaluation,63.64% of the head nurses thought their abilities of literature retrieval were common, and 40.91% thought their abilities of reading English papers were limited. Conclusion The head nurses had initiative consciousness of seeking information,but the ability of searching information need to be developed.
