How to ensure the data security is a big challenge in information field. As the basis and the core, the development and application of contemporary cryptography is the leading factor for the development of information. In this article, the technology of contemporary cryptography is analyzed comprehensively. Also, the application in traditional data security and cloud computing is researched further. The study of this article would lay the foundations for sustainable development of information security.
