The Huntingtun's Theory of Political Institutionalization:Retrospect and Reflection

政治制度化是当前人们常常提到的主张,但是对于政治制度化在学理层面的探讨仍然相对欠缺。在政治发展理论中,亨廷顿曾提出以政治制度化为核心的理论模型。他认为,政治制度化建设能够吸纳政治参与,从而实现政治秩序。但是亨廷顿的理论框架自身在概念界定、变量选取和分析框架的完整性方面都存在着诸多的问题,这些问题也严重地影响到亨廷顿理论的适用性和有效性。各个国家只有依据自身的国情,在政治参与、经济社会发展和政治稳定三者之间实现良性的互动,才能探索到符合本国国情的政治发展道路。

Political institutionalization is a hot topic which people often talk about currently.However,the discussion about it in academic aspect is relatively defective.In the theory of political development,Huntington proposes the mode focused on political institutionalization.He thinks the construction of political institutionalization can absorb people＇s participation in politics and finally achieves the political order.But there are many questions about his theoretical framework in the aspects of concept setting,variable selection and the integrity of framework＇s analysis.At the same time these questions seriously affect the applicability and effectiveness of Huntington＇s theory.In the political practice of most developing countries,there doesn＇t exist the same developing modes,either.So only through the achievement of good interaction in political participation,economic and social development and political stability according to its own condition can each country find its own political developing road which is suited to its condition.
