It is a kind of space grid tubular structure adopted for the steel roof of Hefei International Innovation Excibition Centre.For extremely disorder and its shape,it is called ＂Hefei bird＇s nest＂.The concept design and construction of the disorder space grid tubular structure is introduced in this paper,including members arrangement,type of member＇s section and joint,joint manufancture method,joint construction,workshoping detail design,manufacture and erection,etc.The innovative transformation technique for intersecting joint of diametre-equal circular section is emphasized deeply.The construction design of spacial multi-brace and multiplanar joint are also introduced in order to spread and insist the idea of ＂complex issue,simplified solution＂.
