Alzheimer's disease(AD) is the most common neurodegenerative disease, and its etiology and pathogenesis are still not very clear so far. In recent years, a growing number of studies have found that neuroinflammation plays an impor- tant role in the development of AD. The activation of microglia and the inflammatory eytokines produced by the cells repre- sent the neuroinflammation in many ways. In addition, peripheral lymphocytes and inflammatory cytokines invading into the brain in AD progress join the neuroinflammation as well. Therefore, the investigation of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs with small side effect may become a new target for prevention and treatment of AD.
