This paper describes the meaning and content of harmonious campus, and focuses on the harmonious campus guidelines which harmony campus construction should follow under the guidance of scientific outlook on development, and the difficulties private colleges and universities face in building a harmonious campus. Then, from aspects such as legal status, school system, school funding, teaching staff, curriculum setting, etc, some suggestions to build a harmonious campus system for private colleges and universities are put forward.
