按位归并运算的一种硬件实现

摘要 本文提出了一种能按位操作实现关系排序、并、交、差及其组合运算的硬件归并器,分析了归并器的功能、结构原理及运行机制等.这种归并器可作为功能磁盘阵列中的功能部件或其他类似的用途. The relational operation implemented by hardware is characterized by its lower time complexity and rapid process. Merging is an important and frequently used operation in the field of relational process. Based on this, we presented a hardware based merger which could be used for relational sorting, union, intersection, difference, and their combination operation in this paper, and analyzed its functions, structure, and operation routine in detail. The merger is convenient for implementation by VLSI techniques for its regular structure and bits operation oriented merging method, and could act as the functional unit of the functional disk system or other uses.
