A HARDWARE DESIGN OF FLASH ELECTRONIC DISK SYSTEM

本文详细地介绍了ＦＬＡＳＨＭＥＭＯＲＹ芯片的特性和使用方法，提出了一种采用ＦＬＡＳＨＭＥＭＯＲＹ芯片来构成存储器系统的设计方案．由于本系统利用ＦＬＡＳＨＭＥＭＯＲＹ芯片的可在线编程、快读／写、在掉电情况下的非易失性等许多优异的特点和采用较少的元器件，所以与一般的磁盘存储器相比，它具有结构简单、速度快、低功耗、抗震动等优点，也比一般的电子盘的容量大很多．

This paper explains in detail the characteristic of Flash Memory and the way how to use it,then brings forward a new design of storage system using Flash Memory chips. Because of the feature of Flash Memory, including non volatility,in system programmability, and high performance,compared with generic disk storage,this design has many virtue,such as simple structure,high speed,low power consume and anti shaking.This design also has bigger capability than ordinary electronic disk.
