摘要
认知语言学家Fauconnier认为,语义结构只是认知结构的冰山一角.语义结构远远不能代表意义本身,而是能够激活概念结构.从认知语言学的角度分析《鹿柴》几个英语译本。由于文化,教育等背景的不同,原文对不同译者所能激活的概念结构也是不同的,因此,通过对不同译文与原文的对比分析,可以看出原文对译者所激活的概念结构,从而对译者在翻译时的思维进行分析.
As Fauconnier believes that linguistic structure is the tip of the iceberg of cognitive construction, expressions fail to cover all the meaning that they evoke. That is to say, linguistic structure acts only as a trigger for conceptual structure. Thus, an analysis will be made on different translations of Luzhai from the perspective of cognitive linguistics. What's more, given the differences in culture and education, different conceptual structures will be triggered in the minds of different translators. Therefore, the analysis on the differences between the original text and its different translations may shed some light on how the translators think during translation in terms of the conceptual structure evoked by the original text.
