电视字幕是按照一定规律和相关规范,通过相应技术制作,用以对电视画面进行补充和强调,并在电视屏幕上呈现的一种文字传播符号。规范性是电视字幕的重要属性之一。电视字幕不仅向社会传递信息,也在向社会传达语言规范。电视字幕规范与否,直接影响着社会语言生活规范。近些年,电视字幕在发展的同时在规范方面也出现了一些问题,广大观众反映较多,研究和解决电视字幕中存在的问题迫在眉睫。

TV subtitles are linguistic signs that shown on TV screen to complement the TV and strengthen program delivery. TV subtitles not only convey the content of TV program, but also present the standard national language to the public. Therefore, the standardization of TV subtitles directly associates with the national language. However, in recent years, a series of problems emerge in TV subtitles such as the incorrect spelling and so forth. It is necessary to take some measures to solve these problems given the importance of TV subtitles.
