The Penetration of Anglo-American Culture in English Teaching

英语教学主要侧重于英语的实践性、交际性、实用性。因此,其英语交际技能的教学在英语教学中占据了绝大多数的比例,而随着全球化的不断推进,世界各国文化的相互渗透,英美文化在英语教学中的重要性越来越明显。因此,文章从英语教学中英美文化渗透的必要性出发,分析了英语教学中英美文化渗透的现状,进而探讨英语教学中英美文化渗入的方法。

English teaching mainly focuses on the practicality, communication and availability of language. Therefore, the teaching of English communicative skills has been of a major proportion in English teaching. However, as the constant promotion of globalization, the culture in each country of the the world has been interpenetrated and the importance of Anglo-American culture in English teaching is grow ing. The paper starts from the necessity of penetration of Anglo-American Culture in English teaching, an alyzes the staus quo of penetration and further discusses relevant penetration method in English teaching.
