我国医院船至列装以来，以赴海外执行多次医疗援助任务。医院船派出前出医疗组到服务国领土的临时医疗点展开医疗援助任务，是医院船在空间上的拓展，有利于医院船在平战时以模块化方式、多点、多面随时投入执行随行医疗保障任务，是对医院船执行各项任务有益的补充。前出医疗组的抽组目标为能够单独完成除手术以外的各类常见病多发病的诊疗工作，展开模式分为有医疗机构依托和无医疗机构依托两种模式。抽组完成后，应充分做好各项准备，服务流程灵活适应展开医疗服务的需要。
