Introduction to Results of the "Yellow River Climate Change Scenario Development Project-Rapid Assessment"

为了增强水资源系统的适应能力,减少气候变化造成的不利影响,通过实施"黄河流域气候变化情景研究-快速评估"项目,总结分析了1961年以来气候、水文等相关历史数据和2050年前的预测数据,进而阐述了因水资源短缺将会造成的影响及应采取的相应对策,为快速评估黄河流域气候变化情景提供了科学依据。

'Yellow River Climate Change Scenario Development Project-Rapid Assessment' as jointly taken by Professor Chen Xiaoqiu,College of Urban and Environmental Sciences,Peking University,and Researcher Wang Ling,Yellow River Hydrology and Water Resources Institute,has harvested a series of research outcomes through one-year research.Both the historical data relating to climate,hydrology and socio-economic system and the future forecast data analysis provide reliable evidence that water resources in the Yellow River Basin are vulnerable and have the potential to be heavily impacted by climate change and socio-economic development,the variance of basin water balance will significantly affect the countermeasures of basin management and functions of ecosystems.
