地方本科院校应把为新农村建设服务作为应有的职责和职能。这就要求地方本科院校在新农村教育发展方面坚持以"为农服务"为中心,端正为农村教育服务的方向,优化农村教师队伍,提高农村教育质量,发展农村职业教育,培养新农村建设所需人才。
