Economic Development,Ownership and Technological Innovation Efficiency

采用超效率DEA模型测算了中国的地区技术创新效率,进而构建非线性面板门限模型考查了地区的经济发展水平、所有制结构与技术创新效率之间的非线性关系。通过对1998—2009年我国30个省级行政单位的面板数据的实证研究,本文发现,我国东中西部的技术创新效率之间存在较大差异,并且只有当所有制结构低于门限值水平的时候,经济发展水平对于技术创新效率才具有显著的促进效应。基于实证结果,本文进而讨论了相应的政策含义。

This paper measures the regional technological innovation efficiency of 29 provincial administrative areas in China's Mainland using super efficiency DEA and analyzes the nonlinear relationship among economic development level, ownership structure and technological innovation efficiency by constructing panel threshold regression model. By analyzing the panel data from 1998 to 2009, this paper finds that there exist apparent differences among the eastern, middle and western China, and the economic development level positively correlated with the technological innovation efficiency only when the ownership structure is below the threshold level The related policy implications are discussed based on the results of the analysis.
