田沁鑫的《明》,标榜是根据莎士比亚《李尔王》改编的莎剧,同时又融入了中国明朝16位皇帝围绕权力与阴谋展开的角逐,展现了当代导演借用莎剧和中国明史中血腥权谋的碎片,将其拼贴入《明》中,从而获得了反传统与反崇高的游戏性。
Qinxin Tian's The Ming Dynasty is claimed as a rewritten version of Shakespeare's King Lear. In Tian's The Ming Dynasty, 16 emperors' fights about rights and conspiracy which happened in the Ming dynasty are added to the drama. The drama shows that the contemporary Chinese director mingles the fragments of Shakespeare's drama with a story of bloody tactics in the Ming Dynasty, and by doing so resists the tradition and sublime.
