Hospitals participation in social services is instrumental in that these activities contribute to : perceiving new trends and emerging patterns of correlative factors of health and diseases; examining the masses health conditions and providing relevant information on what their health needs are, what the functions of hospitals are expected to be, which appropriate reform measures will effect the benefits and how to work out directions for further growth of effective health services; increasing practical expertise for selection of cost-effective or best value-for-client techniques , drugs , and other medical supplies; and at the same time , facilitating hospitals' material and spiritual civilization construction.
