As the first 'international president',Mr.Yang Fu-jia has formed its own unique thoughts of running a university in long-term theories exploration and managing practice.He proposed that a university should take buildings as its base,masters as the roots and love as its soul,and should have distinctive characteristics and allow different voices instead of trying to be a comprehensive and big one.A university must emphasize its qualities and advance scientific research;a university should take initiative to cooperate with enterprises from managing to running.Mr.Yang Fu-jia's profound insights provide valuable experiences and samples for China to advance and deepen university reform and to establish a powerful nation of higher education.
