摘要 社会建构主义教学理论强调外语教学过程以学生为中心,突出认知主体;教师转变角色,由"主讲"变为"主导";注重开展交互性学习,重视创设语言环境,加大英文输入;培养学生自主学习能力和注重知识重现的原则。高职院校英语教学要以社会建构主义理论为指导,改革教学方式方法,以提高学生语言应用技能。 The social constructivist theory emphasizes that the process of the English teaching and learning should be student-centered.The students are highlighting cognitive subjects.One of the roles of the English teachers is changed from the main language narrator of the classroom teaching to the guider in the students learning.The learning activities in the classroom should be focused on carrying out interactive learning between the students with the help of the teachers' creation of language environment.The students should have as more chances as possible to increase the English input.More attention should be put to the students self-learning ability and reproduction of knowledge.The English teaching in higher vocational colleges should be guided by the social constructive theory in order to reform the teaching methods and improve students' language application skills.
