Iceland is a developed country with a long history of vocational education.It has the perfect system of vocational education currently,which is in accordance to the industrial structure,and has made great contributions to the social and economic development.However,there have been some crises in the vocational education of Iceland in recent years,and the trend of life-long and open education has arisen.
