摘要 "执事官"利奥的《历史》是10世纪拜占庭帝国一部重要的史学著作。利奥塑造人物形象具有侧重性、集中性和丰满性三大特点。这些特点亦折射出那个时代的两大主题,即拜占庭帝国大规模的对外扩张以及省区贵族势力向中央政权发起的冲击。 The History of Leo the Deacon is one of the most important historical works in the 10th-century Byzantine Empire.The portrayals in his History are characterized as emphasized on particular spheres,as concentrated on certain types of personalities,and as genuine as they were.These characteristics reflect two themes of Leo's epoch,namely the sweeping expansion of the Byzantine Empire,and the challenges from provincial aristocracy towards the central authority.
