岩白菜素具有止咳作用,《中华人民共和国药典》收为镇咳祛痰药,目前已制成片剂用于临床.岩白菜素是一个碳苷,近年来国内外学者对岩白菜素进行了较多研究,对岩白菜素的植物来源、药理作用、剂型及其衍生物等方面的研究情况进行综述.

Bergenin has antitussive effect, the pharmacopoeia of the People＇ s Republic of China received as antitussive and expectorative drug, has been made into tablets for clinical use. Bergenin is a C-glycosides, domestic and foreign scholars have made more research of Bergenin in recent years. The plant source of Bergenin, Chemical reaction, dosage forms and its Pharmacological derivatives, and other aspects of the research were reviewed in this paper.
