Training pattern directly decides the training effectiveness. The author discussed the definition of need - oriented police training pattern and the necessity of carrying out it, analyzed constitutive elements of this pattern so as to be helpful for scientific police training, the promotion of training quality and effectiveness, the improvement of police＇ s quality.
