PCNA表达与垂体瘤复发的相关性分析

Analysis of correlation between PCNA expression and pituitary adenoma recurrence

目的 :评估垂体瘤增殖细胞的核抗原 (PCNA)指数及其临床病理特征作为预测其复发标志物的实用性。方法 :采用免疫组织化学LSAB法检测 33例垂体瘤 (其中复发组 1 5例 ,非复发组 1 8例 )的增殖指数 ,并结合其临床特征进行分析。结果 :垂体瘤PCNA指数随肿瘤体积增大而增高 ,复发组PCNA指数高于非复发组 (P <0 0 1 ) ,而同一病人复发肿瘤较初发肿瘤的PCNA指数增高 (P <0 0 5)。逐步多元回归分析显示垂体瘤术后复发的相关因素包括①高PCNA指数 ;②大腺瘤 ;③鞍外生长 ;④不全切除。结论

Objective:To assess the utility of proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) index along with other clinical and pathological variables as predictors for the recurrence of pituitary adenomas.Methods:Proliferative index of 33 patients with pituitary adenoma,among them,15 cases with recurrent one,18 cases with nonrecurrent one,was investigated with immunocytochemistry LSAB method Results:The PCNA index increased with the rise of tumors volume and was significantly higher in the recurrent pituitary adenomas as compared with nonrecurrent one ( P <0 01) The PCNA index in the samples of the second operation was higher than the first one in the same patient ( P <0 05) Stepwise multivariate regression analysis indicated that factors which collectively correlated significantly with recurrence were∶high PCNA index,large tumor size,extrasellar extension and incomplete surgical excision Conclusion∶The PCNA index serve as a marker for predicting the likehood of pituitary adenoma recurrence
