Background The combination of glycoprotein Ⅱb/Ⅲ a inhibitors and heparin has not been compared with bivalirudin in studies specifically involving patients with non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention （PCI）. We compared the two treatments in this patient population.
