交际意图支配下的权势与同等关系——电影《成事在人》中的称谓语研究

Power and Solidarity Dominated by Communicative Intention——An Analysis of Addressing Terms in Invictus

权势关系和同等关系是语言交际中影响称谓语使用的两个重要因素。国内外学者对此有过许多相关研究。但遗憾的是,大部分研究都没有将影响称谓语使用的这两个重要变量,即权势关系和同等关系与交际意图直接联系起来。事实上,交际意图才是直接影响称谓语使用的"幕后推手"。本文就电影《成事在人》中人物之间的称谓语进行了定量和定性分析。结果表明:称谓语的选用在此部电影中的分布情况一方面受到权势与同等关系的影响,但交际活动中的交际意图在其中起到了举足轻重的作用。只有两者共同作用,交际双方才能在两者中寻找平衡点以保证交际活动顺利进行。

Power and solidarity are two key factors influencing the choice and use of address terms in communication.Scholars at home and abroad have conducted a number of studies on this,but the studies never relate them to communicative purpose.In fact,it＇s the communicative intention that plays the part of ＂backstage driving force＂.The paper analyzes the address terms in Invictus quantitatively and qualitatively and comes to the conclusion that the choice and use of address terms is not just influenced by power and solidarity,more importantly,it is the communicative intention that plays a decisive role in real communication.
