摘要
在评价理论在外语写作教学中的应用研究基础之上,本文用评价理论对英语专业基础阶段学生作文中的评价性资源的使用情况进行统计对比,得出学生习作中关键性评价词汇和评价语块的使用数量与作文质量的关系,对进一步在英语专业写作教学过程中导入评价理论知识提出设想。
Based on the study of applying appraisal theory in teaching foreign language writing, this paper gathers statistics and compares the number of key appraisal words (KAW) and appraisal lexical chunks (ALC) in Basic English Writing between the well - written works and poorly - written works with appraisal theory of systemic functional linguistics(ATSFL), and concludes the connection between the quality of students' works and the quantity of applying KAW and ALC. This paper puts forward the consideration of applying ATSFL in teaching Basic Writing of En.lish maiors.
