公共事业管理专业发展十年,依然面临着定位难、发展难的现状,专业的发展只有确定好培养目标与发展方向才能找准发展途径与方法。根据中国公共管理事业及公共管理教育的现状,该专业应该定位为为基层培养公共管理和服务人员、培养非政府组织创业与服务人员、培养具有公共关怀、公共责任与公共能力的现代公民、培养具有现代公共精神的本地经济与社会发展服务的建设者。在此基础上切实完善课程体系、教学模式、提高师资力量,即能走出专业创新发展与稳步提升的坦途。

The specialty of public affairs management has experienced ten years of development,but today it still faces the predicament of finding its proper position and orientation and developing its potentials.The approaches and channels for the development must be preceded by the proper positioning and orientation and talent training specifications.According to the status quo of China＇s public affairs management and its higher education,the specialty should be positioned at nurturing the public affairs managers and servants for the grass-root units and the business pioneering agents and servants for non-governmental organizations,the modern citizens with public concern and responsibility and public competence and the professionals with modern public affair spirit devoted to the service for the local economic and social development.Only on the basis of the above cognitions,can the specialty be developed stably and smoothly through perfecting its syllabus and curriculum design and teaching approaches and mode and upgrading its faculty strengths.
