Creating Words for the Revolutionary Propaganda——the Creation and Application of Latinized Words of Zhoushan Dialect

本文介绍了六十多年前杨良济(许杨)烈士倡导的舟山话拉丁化新文字活动。通过对现存舟山话拉丁化文字资料的整理与研究,梳理出舟山话拉丁化新文字的语音系统与书写规则,评价其历史文化价值以及语言学意义,肯定了其当时所发挥的革命宣传作用。

This paper is an introduction of a language activity initiated by the martyrs Yang Liangji （XuYang） more than sixty years ago to Latinize the Zhoushan Dialect. By collecting and studying the existing text information, the author tries to work out speech system and writing rules of the Latinized Zhoushan Dialect, evaluate its historical and cultural value, and linguistic significance so as to confirm the role the Latinized Zhoushan Dialect played in the revolutionary propaganda.
