Japanese Noh, coupled with oriental exotic features, represents the hermitship and detachment as well as the colourfulness and gorgeousness of Japan＇s national culture. It has attracted the attention of modem Western scholars. Among them Ezra Pound has penetrated the artistic characteristics of ＂Image Superposition ＂from a unique perspective. He translated Japanese Nob skillfully, imitated and absorbed the accompaniment and the rythm of Nob. He also applied this strategy to the creation of modernist poetry.
