新加坡河在静静地流淌,为数不少的华人诗人背井离乡来到这里,参与开发这片热土,创造了精神文明和物质财富。通过他们的诗,我们看到了同胞们用生命换来的果实,也看到他们的精神皈依。

The Singapore River flows softly. Countless Chinese poets left their hometown and came here, took part in exploiting this place. They created spiritual civilization and material wealth here. By reading their poetry, we can see the fruits our compatriots saved for life, and their spiritual conversion.
