Su Donghai, former Director of Exhibition Department, National Museum of Chinese Revolution, is a famous expert of museology and a researcher of museum philosophy and development. This interview focuses on the studies of the history of the National Museum of China （NMC）. The interviewee talks about the research of NMC history and its exhibitions held in the past one hundred years, experience of preparing exhibitions, the evolution of ＂exhibition planning＂, etc. Su also makes personal comments about the development of NMC exhibitions and the NMC itself.
