Mao Zedong's Contribution and Plan to China's Reform and Opening-up

人们大多认为,中国改革开放是1978年以后的事情,其实,改革开放的思想与实践几乎伴随了毛泽东一生。革命是改革的特殊形态,开放是实事求是思想路线的必然表现,中国共产党作为以马克思主义为其立党理论基础的政党,革命性和开放性是其主要特征和先进性的根本依据与不竭动力。1921至1949年,是中国共产党领导中国人民以革命战争为中心独立解放的30年,也是不断改革创新的30年。建国后,面对千疮百孔、一穷二白的烂摊子,万事都得以改革来开道。毛泽东提出了一系列在社会主义社会制度条件下,进行政治、经济、文化改革和建设的重大思想。1949至1978年,以政治建设为中心计划经济的30年,为后来以经济建设为中心改革开放奠定了基础。

Most people think that China＇s reform and opening-up began after 1978,however,this article indicates that the theory and practice of reform and opening-up are embodied during the whole political life of Mao Zedong.Revolution is the special pattern of reform and the opening-up is the inevitable requirement of ideological line of seeking truth from facts.Revolution and opening-up are the fundamental basis and momentum for the Communist Party of China（the CPC）,a party based on Marxism as its foundation theory,to maintain its major characteristics and progressiveness.The three decades from 1921-1949 is a period when Chinese people fought for independence and liberation through revolutionary war under the leadership of the CPC,which was also full of consistent reform and innovation.After the establishment of the new China,reform must be undertaken first to rejuvenate the extremely poor and battered country.Thus,Mao Zedong put forward the theory of political,economic and cultural reform and reconstruction and led its great practice.The three decades from 1949-1978,centering on political construction and planned economy,laid strong groundwork for reform and opening-up centering on economic construction later.
