The thesis focuses on applying the literature information growth rules into the library book stacks shelving reckoning practice based on the analysis of shelving reservation technology. In order to enhance the accuracy of relocation position measurement, movement reckoning relocation position should be calculated according to different cat egory books growth. Position reckoning basic principle is explained with examples. This thesis also tells remainder position processing method is produced between the theory predicted value and the actual value.
