英语词汇学教学中人文精神的培育初探

An Exploratory Study on How to Cultivate Humanistic Spirit in English Lexicology Teaching

语言教学的一个重要方面就是培养学生自强拼搏、乐观向上、积极进取、求真向善的人生观、世界观和价值观。而传统的词汇学教学强调"实用",未能深入挖掘语言中所负载的人类精神生活和世界观。本文以词缀法的教学为例,探讨如何在英语词汇学教学中,透过语言现象传递人文情怀,最终达到培养人文精神的目的。

One important objective of language teaching is to cultivate students to be struggling,optimistic,positive and ready to seek truth and do good deeds.However,traditional lexicology teaching lays great emphasis on ＂utility＂,but fails to probe deep into what language bears—the spiritual life and world view of the human beings.This paper takes the teaching of affixation for example and discusses how to pass on the entailed humanistic feelings through language phenomenon and eventually achieve the goal of cultivating humanistic spirit in English lexicology teaching.
