摘要
托尼.莫里森作为当代美国黑人文学的领军人物,迄今为读者呈现了九部长篇力作。《宠儿》是莫里森的代表作,文本空间隐喻意义十分丰富。本文以空间叙事为切入点,从贩奴船、甜蜜之家、蓝石街124号以及林中空地等四个空间意象入手,探讨空间所表征的含义,解读空间意蕴和叙事进程之间密切的关系,透视黑奴悲惨的生活状况,探寻黑人民族出路,得出黑人民族只有团结互依,才能建立民族主体性这一文本主题。
Morrison is the leading character in Afro-American literature.So far she produces nine long novels.Beloved is her masterpiece with plenty of space images and space metaphors.With the help of space criticism,the paper attempts to analyze the symbolic and metaphorical meanings of important spaces in the novel.The aim is to show the relationship between description of spaces and narrative procession and discover that races should depend on each other and ethnic unity is the only way to establish national subjectivity.
