英语专业本科生的进口与出口距《大纲》要求有多远?

How Significant Is the Gap Between the Quality of the Import and the Export of English Majors and the Corresponding Requirements in the Syllabus?

为了解《高等学校英语专业英语教学大纲》(以下简称《大纲》)执行十年后英语专业本科新生(进口)和本科毕业生(出口)的质量,本研究对某样本学校来自全国19个省市的123名英语专业大一新生和来自全国12个省市的90名英语专业研一新生进行了学生自评问卷调查。问卷设计基于《大纲》入学要求和八级要求。研究结果表明:进口基本达到《大纲》入学要求;出口勉强达到《大纲》八级要求,整体质量偏低。本文同时探讨了进口与出口质量的可能成因。

In order to assess the quality of English major entering students （import） and graduates （export） after a decade＇s implementation of the national Syllabus, this study has carried out self- assessment questionnaire research among 123 first-grade English majors from 19 provinces and 90 first-grade English graduates from 12 provinces at a selected university. The survey is based on the corresponding Syllabus requirements for entering students and graduates. The main findings are as follows： The quality of import is generally in accordance with the requirementa of the Syllabus; the quality of export is fairly low, barely in accordance with the requirements of the Syllabus. This paper analyzes the possible factors affecting the quality of the import and export of English majors.
